The pack animals should not be carrying hikers’ gear in these temps! The #havasupai Tribe has provided NO PROOF that there is water at the Hilltop trailhead or that the *all the horses and mules are given an opportunity to drink after a brutal 9 mile trek from the campground. 🥵 Horses have collapsed and died on the trail in summer months from exhaustion and dehydration!

The Public Revolts

If you do the math they make over$30,000000 probably closer to $50,000,000 per year on permits alone. Not counting what they get for mule fees or hotel or lodge fees. There is absolutly no reason why the animals arent fed properly. I have horses. I know feed is expensive. I’m sure its a royal pain and costs a lot more to get hay and have it brought down but there’s plenty of money to make that happen.
Report: Tribal Members MOCK Suffering Animal
Sara Valead
Omg…this is so horrific. This Tribe needs to be banned from their grounds. Let another Tribe take over. The Tribal Council of the Havasupai is so darn lazy..They do not deserve RESPECT or HELP. I don’t care who you are…you know right from wrong.
Other Tribes need to step in…council for the Havasupai are lazy.
